Mixed fruits vs fruit salad vs a mixture of food

Which is healthier? Recently a loved one was concerned and stated, 'Don't mix too much'. Stating the amount of different types of fruits I was eating at the time. They were Langsat, Mangosteen, Jack Fruit & Mandarin Oranges. Mix too much? In comparison to what you might ask. She was concerned I might have a bad tummy after that. Well, I do appreciate the concern, but then I started to think- how much can a mixture of different 'fresh' fruits be damaging to one's body? As compared to having bowls of fruit salad? It all depends on 'how' the fruit salad was prepared of course. In some cultures, fruit salads consist of - mixed fruits of course, like grapes, cherries, apples, pineapple cubes, canned longans & lychees etc which are still ok. But when it's mixed with cheese cubes or grated cheese, cream milk, or condensed milk with mayonnaise, that's where the problem comes in.
